One
of the leading Alpine resorts, Les Deux Alpes
is about the surest resort in Europe for snowfall.
The upper reaches of the ski domain are on the
Mont de Lans glacier where even summer skiing
is possible. The resort is now linked to the
La Grave/la Meije ski domain allowing unlimited
off-piste (freeride) skiing. 
As
the resort has been open since 1946 there is
now a wealth (over 73!) of established clubs,
restaurants and bars catering for a youngish
clientele. Snowboarders are particularly well
catered for as this resort was one of the first
to develop snowboard facilities - including
its fearsome mile-long 'couloir'.

a fully-equipped kitchen comprising: dishwasher,

coffee-maker, toaster, 4 hotplates and a
combined oven/grill/microwave. Satellite
TV, internet connection, bathroom and WC,
